Get Support
Our Arthritic Clinic has been designed to give owners the best and up to date information on how to support their arthritic dog.
Any questions or concerns you have can be addressed, leaving you feeling confident on how to best support your dog. You can also opt for one of our monthly support plans.
You will receive a comprehensive welcome pack during your consultation which provides you with lots of information and tools to help support your arthritic dog.
Pain Assessment
We use the LOAD assessment tool to accurately assess your dogs pain levels. This helps to monitor your dogs condition and enables us to put in interventions when needed.
We will also body condition score your dog to see if they are underweight, overweight or at an ideal weight. As this will affect the progression of their arthritis.

There is a fine balance between too much exercise and not enough. We are here to help guide you on the best kind of exercise for your arthritic dog and how much of it.

Musculoskeletal Assessment
Having regular musculoskeletal assessments done by a Canine Therapist are pivotal in ensuring your dogs joint health and muscular function, especially for arthritic dogs.
The assessment can highlight pain points and areas that need attention. The therapist can then advise on treatments that may be needed. It also helps us to monitor the progression of your dogs condition.
